If a clinician allows their certification to lapse without completing the re-certification in time, then their requirements reset to the date when they register to begin their re-certification. Certification requirements that were not in effect for their initial certification would now be required. For instance, if a clinician initiated their certification process at a time when the practicum weekends were not yet required, or when a certain book was not yet required, the re-certification would now require those elements that were missed in the initial certification process.

Personal Neurofeedback Training
20 sessions of Infra-low Frequency training and 10 sessions of Alpha-Theta training. Submit all session notes.

Clinical Experience
At least one year of clinical experience with neurofeedback. Completion of 400 neurofeedback sessions, with no less than 20 clients.

Written Case Presentation
One client through at least 20 sessions, within last 12 months, demonstrating mastery of the Othmer Method. Submit all assessment and reassessment information, session notes and written summary of decision-making process and lessons learned. Some pre-post outcome measurement (such as QIKtest) is required.

Submissions of a case for certification or re-certification must be based on the current version of the Protocol Guide
